KIANA’S LORE
My journey spans both traditional corporate landscapes and emergent cultural spaces like web3. As former CMO for category-creator startups like We Are Rosie, I learned firsthand the art of positioning the unprecedented. Earlier in my career, I pioneered digital content strategies at VICE and SPIN Magazine, where I honed my ability to identify cultural currents before they become mainstream.
Throughout my career, I've led transformative campaigns for global brands including Coca-Cola, American Express, and Procter & Gamble—always centering the human experience in building digital worlds. What ties these experiences together is my commitment to finding the authentic story beneath the surface and bringing it into conversation with the wider world.
Beyond my strategic work, I'm passionate about the intersection of art, culture, and human rights. I've curated independent art exhibitions including "Before We Were Banned," which explored cultural identity and resistance through visual storytelling. My media literacy podcast "Mindful Media" examines how we can approach media as both a tool for liberation and a potential source of misinformation.
My approach to brand strategy is inseparable from my wider commitment to creating spaces where authentic voices can flourish, curiosity leads the way, and new systems/ways of thinking are birthed. Whether I'm developing positioning for a writer or growth strategy for a content creator, I bring the same attention to both cultural context and your original essence.
Clients often tell me they feel both seen and challenged in our work together—creating that rare space where they can be completely authentic while stretching beyond their current vision. I believe this combination of deep recognition and gentle expansion is where true transformation happens.
When I'm not working with clients, you might find me wandering through gardens for inspiration, exploring internet rabbit holes for emerging patterns, or supporting community-based human rights initiatives that align with my belief in the power of storytelling to create change.
